Interview debriefings are vital to everyone’s success.
Once we engage with you in a specific job search, we guarantee constant feedback and guidance throughout the interviewing process.
We have created an entire tab called Career & Interviewing Notes, designed for your benefit. We encourage you to review these topics to strengthen your interviewing skills. This will help you make sure that the interviewer’s first impression will lead to a lasting one that will generate a job offer.
The interviewing process is much like the dating process: All interviews seek to discover if you and the hiring company are feeling good enough about each other’s potential to envision a long term relationship. However, beware, you cannot get to the altar without passing three essential ‘best fit’ assessments:
The Interview Process: – A Simple Test for Best Fit
All phone and face-to-face communications are designed to qualify three reasons why a potential employer would or would not extend a job offer:
- Working Skills (Technical basis)
- People Skills (Team-oriented, leadership, mentoring, relationship building)
- Tenure (Evaluating the potential ROI the employer might receive)
You can be assured that the interviewer will be consciously weighing these three areas of qualifications. All questions and statements, even those that might not seem important, will help to answer the question: Are you the best fit for our team?
They are going to happen, so be prepared. There is only one way to present your references and that is with the same professional appearance as your resume.
Have a reference list prepared for your last three supervisors. See more on this under the tab: Submit Your Resume & Reference.
Rest assured that your confidentiality will be protected and that we will not send your resume to a client without first engaging with you.
We cannot call everyone that forwards their documents, but we will be happy to start a file for you so that when the need does arise that a client requires someone with your leadership and technical traits, we will be able to promptly reach you. Of course, connecting with us on LinkedIn is a great way to stay in touch.
At EverQuest Recruiting, we are determined to find the right direction and best fit for our clients & candidates alike.
