Job description of The Hotel Resort Director of Sales and Marketing:

• Oversee 2 Sales Managers, 2 Catering Mgr, Event Svs Mgr, Group Svs Mgr, Group Coordinator and a Marketing Manager.
• Set and monitor Sales Manager’s goals to achieve revenue objectives.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue and maximize profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team to drive performance and exceed goals.
• Collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies.
• Monitor the Comp Set.
• Strong leadership skills to address important priorities. Acts as a catalyst for change.
• Manage brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
• Oversee the Marketing Manager to develop marketing collateral, digital content, and advertising campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills of the Director of Sales and Marketing:

• 2 years of experience as a DOSM or Director of Group or Leisure Sales.
• 4 years of hotel or resort experience.
• Brand knowledge of any Marriott product is beneficial. Or Hilton or Hyatt.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
