Overview of The Vice President of Hotel Resort Sales
- Requires an expert with GROUP SALES. Preferably in the Mid-Atlantic to Northeast Corridor.
- Highly rated Mid-Atlantic world-class resort able to accommodate 1,200 guests, golf, spa, many dining choices, 80k event space.. Highly Respectable ADR!
- Vice President of Hotel Resort Sales will lead a management team of 15+ in group sales, revenue, reservation manager. This is purely a GROUP HOUSE
- This is a Senior Executive Leadership role – NO personal sales goals.
Job Description Key Responsibilities of the Vice President of Hotel Resort Sales:
- Self-Starter able to develop initiatives.
- Aware of market position and changing trends.
- Identify ways to grow RevPAR. Set Pricing for various patterns.
- Plan short- long goals strategic five-year planning, forecasting and budgeting.
- Strong leadership skills to address important priorities. Acts as a catalyst for change.
- Implement group and individual sales training, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) everything (Or outsource to do this task).
- Promotes positive work relationships with all departments.
- Set and monitor Sales Manager’s goals to achieve revenue objectives.
- Deep knowledge of hospitality sales systems, distribution, and commercial analytics.
Qualifications and Skills of the Vice President of Hotel Resort Sales:
- MUST have a strong background in GROUP SALES preferably in the Mid-Atlantic to Northeast Corridor.
- Traditional prospecting + expectational strong CRM skills + as many Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools as possible: Sales Force. Sales Cloud, Chat GPT, Zoom Info, Co-Pilot, Knowland, Demand and Agency 360, Social Media, etc.
- High Energy, Enjoy Personality, Strong Leadership Qualities.
- 8+ years as a DOSM at a LARGE to MEGA Resort OR Vice President Sales with portfolio accent toward Large GROUP Market, OR Regional Director of GROUP Resort Sales.
Compensation and Benefits of the Vice President of Hotel Resort Sales:
Salary $240,000 – $270,000 DOE + Incentive + Possibly a 2 Bedroom Villa + Full Relocation + Major Medical + Retirement Plan + Client Charge Card for New York City, Comp Recreational Venues, etc
