Assistant Resort Director of Human Resources sought for Large Luxury Resort located within driving distance of Port Charlotte – Relocation Provided.

Job Summary of the Assistant Resort Director of Human Resources:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Hotel or Resort Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. This strategic role will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be an influential leader, capable of fostering a positive workplace culture while driving employee engagement and performance.

Duties of the Assistant Resort Director of Human Resources:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including HR sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Administer workers’ compensation programs and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop workforce planning strategies.
  • Lead change management efforts to support organizational transformation and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in human resources management.
  • Experience for the Assistant Resort Director of Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior HOTEL or RESORT human resource’s role, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR functions including employee orientation, interviewing techniques, workers’ compensation, and change management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
