The Resort Executive Chef will oversee the restaurant, and special events are this Rocky Mtn Resort. The task is to re-open the elegant dining restaurant, enhanced with a calendar of guest activities and events and Farm-To-Table Experience for 150 guest.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, develop, and continuously refine culinary menus reflecting the property’s luxury standards and seasonal availability.
• Oversee 14 FTE Cooks, 2.5 Restaurants and Event Space for 150 guests.
• Enhance the guest interactive special events and activities
• Ensure quality, preparation, and presentation across all dining outlets.
• Oversee the staff meal program in a manner that creates a positive experience for our team
• Create a culinary experience for our guests that is positive and in alignment with the vision of the resort and focused on local Mountain ingredients.
• Manage all kitchen operations, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor food and labor cost controls to align with budget goals.
• Oversee inventory management and minimal waste.
• Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff – including seasonal and visa.
• Partner with the Events team to develop custom menus for special events, banquets, and private dining.
• Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor key performance indicators, including food cost percentage, labor efficiency, and guest satisfaction scores.
• Prepare and present financial and operational reports to the Senior Leadership Team.
• Support sustainability initiatives, including farm-to-table practices waste. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a luxury resort or fine dining establishment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, food cost analysis, and labor control.
• Visa Knowledge helpful
• Understanding of seasonal staffing levels.
• Desire to live in a remote area and enjoy the Rocky Mountains.
