Vice President of Real Estate Development – (VP Project Management)
Based in the Panhandle of Florida this position will be responsible for overseeing the design, entitlement, modelling, permitting, and construction of various commercial, residential and entertainment real estate entities.
Job Description Vice President of Development:
- Responsible for overseeing the design, permitting, and construction of real estate projects and renovations.
- Communicate with banks, general contractors, interior design teams.
- Create development budgets and schedules.
- Manage teams of architects, engineers, etc.
- Manage design and procurement of permits and installation of utilities.
- Track and report progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets and timelines, and lender and jurisdictional requirements.
- Maintain a working relationship with real estate finance resources, mortgage bankers, lenders, government entities, mortgage and program departments governing agencies.
- Assist with planning the launch of new projects from a real estate perspective and help create the pricing and launch strategy.
- Meet with the real estate team during the sales process.
- Lead the overall design efforts of all new developments and remodels, including but not limited to architectural floorplans and elevations, interior design, and landscape design
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management or construction-related field
- Prior experience with project management, design, construction and working with financial institutions and government agencies.
- Has overseen large real estate project management work.
